The descendant of witch hunters, Sadie Doyle is a medium, socialite, and enthusiastic drinker. Her beloved husband is also a medium, and together they are the toast of the uppercrust, headliners on the society pages--and, oh yes, they see ghosts.

Sadie is a human female in her early 30s, and grew up in England and Connecticut. She now lives in the penthouse suite of the Plaza Hotel with her husband Frank. She and Frank drink a lot. A lot. Sadie is fearless in the face of all the supernatural creatures that come her way, and is only afraid of bees.
